Majlis Tahlil dan Doa Selamat

Majlis Tahlil sempena bulan Syaaban dan Doa Selamat bagi murid-murid PSR telah
diadakan pada 10 Ogos 2010.Majlis dihadiri oleh Ahli-ahli jawatankuasaPIBG
Sekolah Rendah Bakiau dan juga ibu bapa murid Tahun 6.Setelah bertahlilditeruskan
dengan penandatanganan rekod kemajuan murid Tahun 6 bagi
Peperiksaan Mock 1.

Lawatan bagi Program Perkembangan Staff dari 5 buah sekolah

Tarikh: 4 Ogos 2010 / Rabu

Jam: 2 ptg

Tempat: Bilik ICT, SR Bakiau

Lawatan terdiri daripada guru-guru SR Bukit Panggal, SR Binturan, SR Sinaut, SR Keriam dan SR Birau bagi Perkembangan Staff Sekolah yang terlibat. Guru-guru yang hadir diberikan penerangan berkaitan Projek Sekolah dalam "School Leadership Program" iaitu program 'Early Bird' dan 'Fun in Numeracy'. Kongsisama tersebut telah dsampaikan oleh Cikgu Ismail bin Mahmud dan Cikgu Rannie Irwandy bin Tompal.

Pihak sekolah tidak lupa mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada guru-guru yang terlibat kerana datang melawat ke sekolah kami. Diharap segala yang dikongsikan dapat memberikan manfaat kepada biskita.

Lawatan Kerja daripada JAPSER Daerah Belait

Tarikh: 2 Ogos 2010 / Isnin

Jam: 8.00 - 10.30 pagi

Tempat: Bilik ICT, SR Bakiau.

Lawatan terdiri daripada PPKD Belait, Guru Besar dan Penolong Guru Besar Sekolah-sekolah Daerah Belait. Guru-guru yang hadir diberikan penerangan berkaitan Projek Sekolah dalam "School Leadership Program" iaitu program 'Early Bird' dan 'Fun in Numeracy'. Kongsisama tersebut telah disampaikan oleh Cikgu Ismail bin Mahmud dan Cikgu Norain binti Hj Hamdan.

Lawatan Kerja PPKD, GB dan PGB Tutong 1

Tarikh: 31 Julai 2010 / Sabtu

Jam: 8.00 pagi

Tempat: Bilik ICT, SR Bakiau.

Lawatan kerja PPKD Tutong 1 bersama Guru-Guru Besar dan Penolong Guru Besar sekolah-sekolah Tutong 1 dimulai dengan Perjumpaan Profesional antara PPKD dan Guru Besar/Penolong Guru Besar.

Setelah itu diteruskan lagi dengan penerangan berkaitan Projek Sekolah dalam "School Leadership Program" iaitu program 'Early Bird' dan 'Fun in Numeracy'. Kongsisama tersebut telah dsampaikan oleh Cikgu Ismail bin Mahmud dan Cikgu Norain binti Hj Hamdan.

Hi blog-readers, its been awhile our blog not updated. Sorry for the long paused. Now we are back. :)

Firstly, congrats to our Guru Besar Dk Hjh Haidah binti Pg Hj Mahadar, Guru Kanan Cikgu Norain binti Hj Hamdan and Cikgu Ismail bin Mahmud for graduating from "School Leadership Program" (cohort 1) and also to the rest of SR Bakiau teachers as the school project's best practice were chosen to be "Best Practice in Primary School".

For 4 months since April 2010 we had given our best as a team to implement the school projects i.e. Early Bird Program and Fun in Numeracy. Hope we will continue to work together to the excellence of our school and beloved students.

Mini Fun Fair 2010

Date: 3rd July 2010

Venue: SR Bakiau

Last Saturday, the school had a mini fun fair for the students in conjunction to the school leadership program for FIN (Fun in Numeracy) and Early Bird Program. In a normal fun fair, players will have to pay for their games but in the mini fun fair, students do not have to pay but they will be required to answer questions, both in Maths, English and Bahasa Melayu. Questions were set according to their level and the games can be played after the students can answer the teacher's questions.

There were altogether 8 games, Booth 1 to Booth 8.

Booth 1 - Shooting corner

Booth 2 - Solving a crime case.

Booth 3 - Hit the bottle.

Booth 4 - Aim the cone.

Booth 5 - Poke the Balloon.

Booth 6 - Fishing corner.

Booth 7 - Ting Ting corner.

Booth 8 - Bingo Games.

The mini Fun Fair was officially opened by Cikgu Dk Hjh Haidah binti Pg Hj Mahadar, our Headmistress of Bakiau Primary School. The games started at 8.45 a.m and ended at 12.15 p.m. It was a fun day for all teachers, students and also parents who were invited to come and participate in handling the booths and enjoying the games set for the students. Prizes were given on the spot to the winners. All students played the games and was given a checklist for the games the students had participated in, so that all the students will have equal chance to play each game.

Parents were also encourage to help their kids in solving a problem. Most of the parents involves in the games with their students and even some, were able to enjoy themselves by playing some of the games set.

Finally, the school will like to thanked all the teachers and parents involved, for their hard work in setting up their respective booth. It was a huge success where the school was able to conduct a fun and educating day for all the students. Congrates guys, we made it.
